Second time around I knew what to expect and that's why I did it, I seriously needed the inspiration to follow through with the CONQUER 28 Challenge but being with a group such as Bondi Vixen makes it so easy, everyone's so supportive of each other and encouraging. Four weeks is really achievable it has reset my mindset in regards to training again and eating correctly, I have so much more energy and feel lighter and happier within myself. Mentally it's an amazing thing to do, to follow through and achieve a goal sets you up for further challenges in your life and conquering anything you put your mind to. On the last day I did 3 classes in a row.... why? Not to prove anything to anyone but to prove something to myself.... I am strong, I am worthy and I CAN achieve anything I put my mind to. For me more than physical (which is a bonus as it's a no brainer you do lose weight we know that) it's a mental challenge, I'm proud of myself for getting through another one and excited about training again. Thanks VIX for everything.
I joined Bondi Vixen as I wanted to form a healthier relationship with exercise. I felt like I'd been really fortunate with my weight and health, but was starting to realise that I was taking this for granted. If I didn't create healthy habits now, it was just going to get harder. Bondi Vixen helped introduce me to a variety of classes in a fun and empowering environment. I now really enjoy exercising and even look forward to doing a class. I honesty never thought I'd be that person. I've created healthier routines, improved my eating habits, reduced my coffee consumption dramatically but what I've really noticed is how this program has helped me better manage my stress levels and bring a greater sense of happiness to my day-to-day. I really can't thank Vix and the team enough!
I came back a second time because the first time I did the Zone 21 it kick started me back into exercise after 18 years and showed me I could do something for myself. Over the past 6 months the exercise stuck - mainly because it's an awesome bunch of women and I'm having fun but the diet slipped back. So this time it's about getting my eating right and curbing - not stopping my drinking which frankly is a little to free and flowing.
Fun, challenging and putting myself first were the goals of entering. The CONQUER 28 Challenge certainly proved and provided this! Loved the classes - Varied variety. Great intensity. Good amount of women with various fitness levels and super friendly environment.
The 21 Day Kickstart is a fantastic experience! Unlike trainers at the gym, Vix and her team provided CONSTANT support and motivation. Not only do you have access to an online forum where you can ask questions and share experiences with fellow Vixens, but Vix is willing to listen and share her knowledge at any time throughout the day. I am a frequent gym-goer, so the program was not turning up to class, but rather performing different physical activities. I can squat heavy weights at the gym without much struggle, but a 45 minute cardio-focused class, such as boxing, boy that’s challenging!! Having a meal plan to follow with clear guidelines was terrific and made things nice and simple, and after only a short 3 week period I can already see major changes in by body! I will definitely be signing up to another Zone 21 before Summer!
What a difference 21 days makes. I'm physically stronger than before the Zone 21 Kickstart, mentally tougher knowing I can beat my excuses, and spiritually happier as I learn to value my well-being and take better care of myself. The tools learnt from the 21 days, they're for life. I look forward to a better version of me going forward! I really enjoyed the program. Sincerely, thank you Vix and team
