This Breakfast Smoothie is a favourite of mine and packed full of all the anti-ageing ingredients to set your day up right and a great recovery shake after your early morning session in our Boutique Fitness Studio in Bondi.
Makes 2-3 Servings
- 1 cup filtered water or chilled organic green tea
- 2 fistfuls of greens (spinach, kale)
- 1 fistful of herbs (parsley, basil, mint)
- Zest and juice from 1 medium lemon
- 1 carrot
- 1 green apple
- ¼ cup pomegranate seeds
- ½ avocado or 1 tsp avocado oil
- 1-inch grated fresh ginger
- 1 scoop collagen peptides (optional)
Put all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend until smooth. Store remaining smoothie in Mason jars with a tight-fitting lid in the fridge for up to three days.
