4 power protein smoothie recipes

Healthy protein-rich smoothies give you a delicious way to get the nutrients you need throughout the day. The best bit? There are heaps of different ingredients and combinations you can try. We like to mix it up to keep our shakes and smoothies interesting – but here are four current Bondi Vixen faves. Recipe #1: Wild Berry Blast
Whiz together these ingredients in a blender and you’re good to go! A berry-licious flavor that’s great any time of day (and frozen berries mean you can enjoy it all year round).
• 2 scoops Vicious Whey Protein
• 8 raspberries
• 4 strawberries
• 15 blueberries
• 300ml skim milk
• ½ cup ice cubes

Recipe #2: Orange Kick Smoothie
A really creamy smoothie that’s great for winter, especially when you’re training hard.
• 2 scoops Vicious Whey Protein
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 120ml water
• 175ml orange juice
• 2 tbsp heavy cream
• ½ cup low-fat vanilla yoghurt
• Ice cubes (to reach desired consistency)

Recipe #3: Vegan Tropical Boost
This one’s perfect for vixens who are looking for a nutrient-packed, dairy-free option.
• 2 scoops Vicious Whey Protein
• 1 cup almond milk
• ½ cup strawberries
• 1 handful fresh English spinach
• 1/2 cup fresh pineapple
• 1 kiwi fruit
• Ice cubes (to reach desired consistency)

Recipe #4: Snickers Smoothie
So delicious it surely can’t be healthy? But it is!
• 2 scoops chocolate Vicious Whey Protein
• 1 cup skim milk
• 1 banana
• ¼ cup raw oatmeal
• 1tbsp peanut butter (smooth)
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
