“I was literally about to give up on myself and my health when I discovered the ZONE 21 Challenge run by Bondi Vixen, I realised that I can’t do it by myself so I took a leap and signed up. It was the absolute best thing I could have done, I didn’t believe I could do the challenge, I didn’t think I had it in me as I hadn’t done regular exercise for many months and had put on a lot of weight. I felt lethargic and unmotivated but within 3 short weeks (just 21 days out of my whole year), I have lost weight, no longer feel bloated, have more energy and am sleeping better than I have for years. They say there’s no quick fix, but the program that Vix has created is specifically targeted to women and it works 100% in a very short period of time. From the very beginning the guidance on fitness and eating the right foods is invaluable. With fitness experts, a dietician and a Sports Therapist as part of the team I was totally supported from day 1 to day 21 so I would highly recommend the challenge to everyone no matter what fitness level it is a no brainer and you’ll also meet an amazing group of ladies along the way who are all just like you! As a nurse, I spend most of my days telling people and advising them on how to best care for their bodies and health in all aspects; but until recently, they were just words that I’d learnt to tell people. I wasn’t really walking my talk so to speak. I’m not what you would consider uneducated about health and fitness, but I certainly didn’t understand the true and hidden strength that ALL humans have to be strong and fit, and to trust and push their bodies and minds to the next level of awareness of just how capable we are of achieving the things in life we want; and that’s exactly what I got from the girls at Bondi Vixen. I have learnt to trust in myself that I can absolutely obtain that envious physique we see on those lovely fit bodies that come in all shapes and sizes.

I have only just started to see some slight silhouetting of my muscles around my abs and thighs and it has made me so excited! The trainers and fellow women that have surrounded me on this short journey so far have kept me grounded and created the space for me to really learn the very important lesson of self-love and respect. Before I started with Bondi Vixen I was the most unfit I’d ever been. But as much as I tried to motivate myself, I just couldn’t find my way back and I couldn’t seem to find the balance between work and a healthy lifestyle.

Eight weeks on and I’m a completely new person – I sleep better, eat better, feel better and have the energy to live again. Thanks so much Vix and Lou for helping me get “me” back, I honestly couldn’t have done it without you both!

I should clarify for you though that I normally work a minimum of 12 hours a day. It’s not that I’m straight out lazy – it’s just that I needed something extra (like the 8 week challenge) to spur me on!”
